Investigation of blade-mast fluid-structure interaction of a tidal turbine

چکیده
In this article, we investigate the movement and vibrations of a blade due to presence mast. When passes in front mast, sudden pressure spike induces blade. To study influence stiffness, two different structures were studied. We present our numerical schemes concerning resolution flow, behavior structure coupling systems. Then, validate methods against an experiment (Bahaj et al., 2007). third section, cases fluid-structure interaction. Several are setup by modifying stiffness material. Their steady open-water (without mast) behaviors compared. And finally, dynamic computations performed compare elastic passing next For all cases, use K–FSI developed K-Epsilon solve interaction (FSI).
